This autumn, with the “Fall Fashion Heroes” campaign, Lindex integrates larger sizes in all its fashion concepts. Now most of the pieces are offered in sizes up to 54. Their Generous concept, their former plus size line, is no longer available then.
It means Lindex is ahead in the curve of fashion and society development by taking the initiative of more inclusion and diversity. Among a few friends I raised the discussion in order to hear some opinions and it was said that to size up to 54 is not to go plus size at all, but I partly disagree.
Every fashion house must have a target not only in style but also in sizes to work with. With the “Fall Fashion Heroes”, Lindex is not promoting plus size, they are channelling “All Sizes” – inclusion and diversity.
For this reason I was happy to collaborate with them, showing my picks of styles that I could fit in. here is the first look. A beautiful bodycon striped knitted dress in dark burgandy, (kind of Marsala) with cute stripes in Rose Quartz – Pantone’s colour of the year – and the other beautiful Pantone rue for Fall, Dusty Cedar, as well as a blue that I found similar to the pantone’s Riverside.
In the campaign (see more about it here), the dress was worn by the goddess Candice Ruffine, my heart beats fast…
