As the weather gets colder and the days darker, the styling of the season gets a darker colour palette. But a hint of light and bright shades help to keep it lively. Check out this look I styled the other day. This look goes easily from work to a dinner out.
A mix of informal and chic, that’s how I think of this look. It was not very much planned, I just thought the pieces went well together. And I really wanted to wear those trousers. Can you blame me?
I’ve heard before that this type of leather-inspired trousers is good for night outfits, and I can see where the thought comes from, But as I say, we can all wear what we want when we want, so, the rule is to have no rules for fashion and style. Especially when we are talking inclusion and fashion democracy.
To make the look a bit lively I chose a pink (ish) shimmery sweater that is so cool and cozy. Soft on the skin. I like that the neckline shows some skin. And red boots, because they are gorgeous.
To keep me warm, I picked this pretty dark grey and black coat. It is oversized, has a good fit and quality. For a while in the past I was not able to find a proper coat in my size available in an affordable brand. That’s what I like about Kappahl. Their clothes have good quality for affordable prices and nice style. This is fashion democracy
this post in a collab with Kappahl to promote their plus size line, XLNT.
