“School girl jumper” inspired top, super long bell-sleeved blouse and velvety details – all in the same look. Isn’t this one a good example of how the runaway trends are translated into the everyday fashion we get in the fast fashions around the world?.
Lindex has been offering a variety of trendy pieces in larger sizes as it expanded their fashion concepts to “all sized” collections. The “Fall Fashion Heroes” for instance bring feminine trendy pieces up to size 54, making it possible for full figured ladies as myself to have more options when it comes to affordable fashion.
This autumn, with the “Fall Fashion Heroes” campaign, Lindex integrates larger sizes in all its fashion concepts. Now most of the pieces are offered in sizes up to 54. Their Generous concept, their former plus size line, is no longer available then.
It means Lindex is ahead in the curve of fashion and society development by taking the initiative of more inclusion and diversity. Among a few friends I raised the discussion in order to hear some opinions and it was said that to size up to 54 is not to go plus size at all, but I partly disagree.
It’s finally time that I can hare with you something I’ve been hardly keeping for myself (ok, some close people know it too) 😉
I am participating on the new edition of Masterchefs Norway. How exciting? I am so thrilled to see myself on TV together will all the amazing people in my group. The show premiers on Monday the 5th of september on TV3, in Norway. But here you can WATCH the episodes ONLINE! Yay!
It all happened so fast.
Lindex is setting examples for the fast fashion brands around the world. They are including larger sizes in their regular lines, offering now the same clothes for sizes XS to XL. It makes so much more sense. We all should be able to have the same choices of clothes. Many brands nowadays approach a concept of fashion democracy, positive self image and diversity, but many of them are not even close to actually apply the speech to their strategy/services.
Yes it’s true! I’ll be a mother of such a blessed boy. I feel lucky and very happy at the moment. So I would like to share with you here. Note: this is a detailed and honest post.
