In the first day of Pulp Fashion Week Paris the weather was quite mild. Mild as the early spring can be, right? …. So I found it to be the perfect opportunity to début a few pieces I was looking forward to wearing. The black bodysuit from a high end brazilian plus size swimwear brand, my chamois camel skirt and my very first denin shirt. All combined into a seventies look. Check out how cool it turned out.
I am in Paris to cover the Pulp Fashion Week – the main plus size fashion event around here. I cool is that? Yes, right? It has been busy and buzzy days. I have been travelling a lot, coming from Rio, going to Oslo and stopping here in Paris in the way. There is a lot to take into account when I am packing for all this. So check out the look I chose to wear in one of the days of the event. Just love it.
Jeans & tee make one of the most adored duos of the style world.
And in the pictures above you see Gisella’s version of it – cause I am more a skirt/dresses gal, you know.
There are always so many issues on what can full figure girls wear and what they annot wear. And beieve me: it is said to be more dont’s then do’s. But not for me, not for anybody I’d say.
To have more “substance” than the girls in the magazine does not mean we have to hide our curves by using shapeless clothes. It is the oposite, if we choose an area to put the spotlights on and work well with our figures, to dress properly becames a much easier tasks. You just need to know what works better for you.
And I can assure: pensil skirts are a curvy girl friend. Here I paired with one of my very first tee bought as an adult. This one is a cool productin by frech creatives Maison Labiche. Got them at Colette but they also sell on their website. Colette is one of my fav shops aroud the globe.
So, keep in mind: know what better flatters you and go for it, says your body.
