What time is it? It’s Glam time! This is the most glamorous time of the year where parties are all over allowing us proper excuses to shine even more (not that we need excuses to shine, but, anyways…) and I am glad to share some party outfits I picked up in the Lindex collection currently in stores.
The idea is to encourage ladies like Moi, that dress larger sizes, to try some new ways of pairing pieces ad creating unique outfits. Even when most of the clothes in the stores are black, you can still try something new for you, that channels glamour and fierceness.
A totally independent editorial photographed by Brazilian upcoming plus size photographer Adriana Líbini styled by me, with my own clothes. Architecture and curves in the best São Paulo vibe.
It has been a while I have been observing Adriana Líbini’s projects. I have always thought of working together with her but I guess we have never been physically in the same place and time.
But during my last trip to Brazil I thought it would be the best opportunity to work with her. Also I have observed that Adriana’s project have grown and developed in a more refined way. Then it was the right time for us to partner.
Briefing was simple: to explore lines and shapes from modern architecture in São Paulo, I would style and do the beauty and she would make her magic with the cameras. The idea was to work together and have some portfolio for both of us.
Adriana is a very committed photographer who does understands the angles of the plus size body. She owns great equipment and is very easy to work with.
I do suggest her commissioned work for commercial and private jobs in Brazil ou abroad.
Now, the images.

Zizzi’s Black Label bring sophistication back. The sub label from the Danish brand just launched their second collection and it is THE “everyday luxury” we could ask for. The previous collection was also very classy and with my picks I made one of my all time favorite editorials. Remember it here.
Personally I love the hand picked materials and graphic shapes. Waist flattering tops, coats and dresses together with the trendy styles make this collection my favorite from Black Label. The pieces are so easy to pair among themselves or with other wardrobe gems you may have that I can see myself not changing outfits for a while now.
Day to night and refined trendy looks. See here how I styled my favorite pieces fom the collection. They are all in stores now.
Here you find a list of all Zizzi shops.
the clothes are also available online with Zizzi’s webshop and Navabi.
Coat available here – Navabi or Zizzi’s webshop
My favorite look from the collection. This diamonds shaped print has a silver shine on it that just killls it! The crepe skirt fits very well on the body. Me loves. The white top is from Zizzi regular collection.
Blazer available here – Zizzi’s webshop
This Blazer is a must have. The lengh is just right and the crepe fabric feels so soft on the skin. I love it.
This textured Trench Coat is so versatile. I love to wear it with sneackers
Zizzi is soon lauching its summer collection How exciting? It is the season we all wait for. More colors, prints, and all that happy vibe around the clothes. Yes, we love summer. And to celebrate the launch, Zizzi invited me to pick my likes of the collection and to make this editorial in Rio. Yaaaaas! Should I have said yes or of course? ahahaha
The clothes are really beautiful. Variety of materials and prints, ranging from delicate flowers to polka dots. In this first selection I present you you, you can see two of the dresses I think are the most beautiful in the collection for my style and the gorgeous top with two layers, paired with a cute buttom-up like denim skirt.
The three looks fit several styles and ocasions, making your wardroe fresher and cooler for the long summer days we have been longing for so much.
The pieces will be available in stores and online from march. Get prepared to go crazy. Soon, the second part of this editorial I shot in Rio.
Here you find a list of Zizzi shops and this is their danish webshop and you can also shop Zizzi online at Navabi, they ship to several locations.
As you may have noticed, I was born in Rio and moved to Oslo couple of years ago. That may tell you something about my love for my hometown. Me and the nice people I work with at Zizzi thoight it would be a great idea to shoot their summer collection in Rio. Nothing wrong with summer clothes and Rio, right?
So as I produced it myself, I started scouting location first on my mind then going to the places. Based on the clothes and on the variety of scenarios, I picked Parque das Ruinas. Unique among the city’s many vantage points, this Park of Ruins is located a top a hill in the Santa Teresa district, next to Museu da Chácara do Céu, used to be an opulent residence built by homeopathy trailblazer and politician Joaquim Murtinho (1848-1911) and inherited by his niece, Laurinda Santos Lobo, who was known as the hostess of one of the most coveted salons, or social gatherings, of her time. The view from the city is the main highlight of the area. A real must go.
Then I worked with one of my favorite fashion photographer, Vitor Fernandes. He has a colorful and happy eye over fashion and I like that he is fresh and relaxed. The results always have a happy vibe in the pictures, reflecting my personality and the clothes I am wearing.

Polka dots always go well with colors.
Double layer top in floral print. Love the bright colors. Trendy buttom up denim skirt.
Very lightweight fabric with a cute print. Fits well all body types.
Cigarette trousers & collar details crepe top.
One of my fav look ever. Since I haven’t been the biggest fan of trousers, I got so surprised by how well this one fits me.
The slim fit combined with a bodied fabric and great finish makes this one of the best pants I’ve ever dressed. The design is so elegant and can be dressed up as I did or dressed down with a pair of bailarinas, for instance.
to pump up the basic look I chose this gorgeous top with the sparkle details on the collar. The white crepe fabric had a good fit on the body. Although I tried to wear it a bit more losen, I guess to wear it inside the trousers is my fav way of styling this long top.
This look is def a winner.

Plissè skater skirt & Lurex Top.
In the party season, sparkle is everything. Actually sparkle is everything all year long, isn’t?
what I love about this look is how the cute skater skirt got so classy in the Plissè sheer fabric. It is such a lady like be young touch to the collection from Zizzi.
I also like the Lurex top. The discrete sparkle makes it suitable for a daytime use too. With the bracelets and sparkling socks and silver belt from Zizzi I completed the look.
