The bardot neck dresses seem to have been a hit. In warmer days they are everywhere, proving how democratic it can be. Flattering and delicate, this neckline just makes everything a bit more fun.
And River Island just hit the spot with this floral max dress with a beautiful and feminine bardot neckline. So lightweight and elegant, #Icanteven
In the chillier afternoons in scandinavian summer, when all these colors are so appreciated, this outfit feels just right for almost any occasion. The layering details made the look more fun and edgy.
River Island has a pretty good selection of cool plus size styles. Quality and fit are good and prices affordable. So I could say they have been in my top 5 favorite brands.

Can’t help myself when I see a match between two prints. And I do see this often.
It can be a match on the colors, on the patterns, anything really. It is kind of subjective, an intuition I’d say. But to mix prints is more like a feeling and a state of mind than a planned or ruled action. So, let your imagination guide you in the task of mixing prints in your wardrobe and play around.
The whole point when dressing up is to have fun and to follow your mood. So, just go with the flow and start matching up and dressing up.
Here I am wearing Lindex Pencil skirt from their Holly & Whyte line. Recentlly Lindex added larger sizes to this specific line (they already have the Generous plus size line) and are planning to soon add larger sizes to all their collections. How great?
This is indeed a major step towards a real democratization of fashion. Not only in the speech as many brands do, but a real action, increasing the sizes and including more people in their shops. It does make me happy.
I paired the skirt with a plain white V-neck tee and a gorgeous Kimono from River Island Plus Size RI PLUS – their plus size collections are classy, colorful and very well made with affordable prices. I have posted here other looks from RI Plus – this beautiful long dress and this amazing occasion dress.

RI Plus is one of the coolest plus size lines I have seen lately. The British High Street darling, River Island took plus size designs into a new level and in their new range offers party outfits, workwear, core basics and denim.
They seem to have been paying attention to the market and designed for curvy women, which of course makes such a difference.
When they got in touch and I could finally touch the designs I knew their pieces had something extra. Not only the fabrics and prints but the modern european designs. Each new delivery in their website has a new cool piece that makes me to want more!
Here is one of the dresses I like better. It is so comfy to wear. Kinda sexy, kinda playful… It surely paired well with a leather biker jacket and my Adidas Superstar. I do love the dresses and sneakers.
RI Plus is available online and in stores.
