Summer dresses for party ocasions can be styles in so many ways. Dress it up or dress it down, pimp it up with acessories, endless possibilities. But when the designs got that romantic vibe, jut like the ones I am wearing in this editorial, it feels just so right to style them up in a more edgy way.
In these pictures I produced & styled wearing japanese plus size brand Varal de Moda +, the idea was to suggest the usage of sweet party dresses in a more bittersweet way, know what I mean? Leather, sandals and socks, denim jackets, you name it.
Remember I have been mentioning this brand here for a while now? Yes, their clothes are amazing. Such high quality finishing. I get wowed every time I touch their clothes. This is the spring/summer collection. I am just in love with everything.
What about the images, how do you like them?

Love me some colors, love me a dress and love me a blazer! So, ain’t this the perfect plus size outfit for the days when we want to look colorful and elegant?
When I wore this look I was at Rio. It made so much sense to rock colors and play in mu hometown. It feels just rights to wear dresses and blazers paired in one outfit. What I love about these specific pieces is their lenghts. And the colors/print, of course.
To find the right plus size blazer can be a real nightmare. This is one from one of my favorite brazilian plus size brands – Mellbout.
To achieve a certain level of color blocking, I paired with pink sandals and my lovely celine classic blur lisard bag, One chic look!

Fringes are having a well deserved moment in fashion now. The trend is everywhere and I am glad it is. Such a fun, efortless chic and relaxed look. I love it. It is good fun to wear it. Seriouly. Try swinging a fringe skirt? It is an attention grabber for its coolness. So we got to try, right?
The dress in the pictures is a winner, unexpensive and cool. I loved it in the moment I saw and had to get it. Although the viscolycra fabric is not impressive, it kinda reveals too much, so I chose to wear a lonline shirt over it. It worked fine but it did not flatter my cuves. That’s where he belt wins then.
Another aspect of the fringes in the bottom area of the dress is the need of a more elongated look. I am not so short (1,71cm) and still felt like wearing some heels. The woden wedge wrked just fine to complete my seventies inspired look.
