I am in Paris to cover the Pulp Fashion Week – the main plus size fashion event around here. I cool is that? Yes, right? It has been busy and buzzy days. I have been travelling a lot, coming from Rio, going to Oslo and stopping here in Paris in the way. There is a lot to take into account when I am packing for all this. So check out the look I chose to wear in one of the days of the event. Just love it.
In fashion events, with catwalks, a lot of people that know each other, pictures, videos and all that buzz all you want to be is looking gorgeous, isn’t? In my case it was even more necessary since I was feeling like sh** after travelling for so many hours, coming from Rio and stoping in paris on my way back to Oslo. All the time spent out of home calls for practical outfits, like the one I picked for one of the event’s day.
The bodycon animal print velvet dress has everything to become kinda vulgar. But in this case it is just the opposite. The fabric has a relaxed fit while the vertical stripes help to elongate the siluete. The detail in the waist area gives it a curvy shape that matches any body type. But alone the dress could be a bit too basic for my taste.
So I paired it with tractor heels and leather biker jacket – so it just became a kinda rock n’roll outfit. hehehe The ultra feminin bag helped to balance the look giving it a softness and light. It was just comfortable and stylish, for sure a new favorite.
It is very important that you keep it simple and classy when wearing animal print. I think the voluptuous curves we have are already a big and great attraction, so lets allow it to do the talking while the animal print becomes just a classy detail, know what I mean?
