In line with my work of self acceptance and positive body image in the media, I partned again with the largest norwegian magazine KK Magazine to talk about my self experience at the KK Dagen for almost one thousand people. Together with other gorgeous ladies, I went on the stage and shared some words on self steem, diversity and body positivity in the media. Check out more details and images here.
Last year was the first time I worked with KK Mag promoting their KKNaturlig concept, which promotes natural beauty in their magazines and websites. In the occasion we used the global launch of the new super bra from Triumph and made a lingerie editorial with natural beauties like myself and the other gorgeous ladies involved. The result was a classy and delicated material print in the november issue of KK Stil (the magazine under kk group that is dedicated to promote a more real idea of beauty)
But this time I was invited to go on the stage and to be more personal, talking about my own experiences. And that, my friends, is quite different from a photoshoot – what I am very much used to work with. So I shared my thoughts on the importancy of diversity and a more realistic and positive body image in the mass media, such as kk. It was also very importante that I was there in the sense that I was representing the foreigner imigrant women in Norway too. The diversity I am chanelling here is not only bodywise, but cultural and ethinic wise too. So I am very proud of myself for being brave and to stand there in lingerie (gorgeous set I styled, btw) and to share my thoughts with so many people in a society that is quite new for me.
This is the wholw look. Got it with me to special nights at home with my main supporter and best friend.
