Zizzi is soon lauching its summer collection How exciting? It is the season we all wait for. More colors, prints, and all that happy vibe around the clothes. Yes, we love summer. And to celebrate the launch, Zizzi invited me to pick my likes of the collection and to make this editorial in Rio. Yaaaaas! Should I have said yes or of course? ahahaha
The clothes are really beautiful. Variety of materials and prints, ranging from delicate flowers to polka dots. In this first selection I present you you, you can see two of the dresses I think are the most beautiful in the collection for my style and the gorgeous top with two layers, paired with a cute buttom-up like denim skirt.
The three looks fit several styles and ocasions, making your wardroe fresher and cooler for the long summer days we have been longing for so much.
The pieces will be available in stores and online from march. Get prepared to go crazy. Soon, the second part of this editorial I shot in Rio.
Here you find a list of Zizzi shops and this is their danish webshop and you can also shop Zizzi online at Navabi, they ship to several locations.
The photoshoot:
As you may have noticed, I was born in Rio and moved to Oslo couple of years ago. That may tell you something about my love for my hometown. Me and the nice people I work with at Zizzi thoight it would be a great idea to shoot their summer collection in Rio. Nothing wrong with summer clothes and Rio, right?
So as I produced it myself, I started scouting location first on my mind then going to the places. Based on the clothes and on the variety of scenarios, I picked Parque das Ruinas. Unique among the city’s many vantage points, this Park of Ruins is located a top a hill in the Santa Teresa district, next to Museu da Chácara do Céu, used to be an opulent residence built by homeopathy trailblazer and politician Joaquim Murtinho (1848-1911) and inherited by his niece, Laurinda Santos Lobo, who was known as the hostess of one of the most coveted salons, or social gatherings, of her time. The view from the city is the main highlight of the area. A real must go.
Then I worked with one of my favorite fashion photographer, Vitor Fernandes. He has a colorful and happy eye over fashion and I like that he is fresh and relaxed. The results always have a happy vibe in the pictures, reflecting my personality and the clothes I am wearing.
