It’s finally that time of the year! Sun shines bright and colours pop everywhere. As a girl born and raised in Rio, I must say that this is the time of the year when I am most comfortable with myself. This is how I will be dressing this season. Check out some styling tips and links to the pieces I am wearing:
Colours are my thing, have always been. The way I dress in bold colours reflect my personality, the way I relate to the society and how I want to express myself. Of course, not all days are a rainbow but I guess a fair amount of days during the year feel like spring inside. At least that’s how I set my life to be.
After I moved from Rio to Oslo, I would still spend winters in Brazil, trying to be there from December to march. But now, with a small baby and more work here, it became just impossible to do it this year. And now, my friends, I understand the urge for the heat, for the light and for the active life outdoors.
This spring I want to spend as much time as I can outdoors, with my family, basically just doing anything in the sun. The days now are still a bit chilly, so it ain’t yet bare legs weather but it’s come, I see all building up to the 28 degrees Mondays. I’m so ready for them.
I’ve been recent to Lindex and found some cute styles on my size. Here is one of the outfits I’ve been wearing like a uniform.
This spring styling is all about mixing prints and textures, playing with shapes and being comfortable. This striped shirt is one of the easiest pieces to use in the mix and match styling. Matches almost any print, but I do prefer the combo flowers + stripes. Layering jeans and skirt or dress is a great alternative to wearing tights all the time. Plus, it’s incredibly practical and comfy.
